Discover What We Do

Expert Landlord-for-Hire

We are full time property managers. We don't sell real estate and dabble with property management on the side. This is what we do every day. We are also investors ourselves, which gives us a unique perspective on what is really important when is comes to residential rentals. Everyday we continue to hone our trade and get better.

Serving Property Owners

We work as an agent on behalf of our owners and take that responsibility very seriously.  The best way we know how to do that is to treat and care for your property as if it was our own.  A core principle at our company has always been and will always be "Client First."

Single-Family Homes, Condos & Multi-Family

When the Eddinger Brothers relaunched Robert C. White & Company in 2012 they intentionally focused on smaller sized buildings.  From their investing experience, they recognized first hand that there aren't many quality property managers serving this segment of the market.  Everyone advised them there was no money "in the small stuff" and they wouldn't be able to grow a business there.  They are working to prove those people wrong. Their goal is to bring institutional quality property management to owners of smaller buildings.

Central Connecticut

Our office is centrally located just off of rt 91 and 691 in Meriden, CT.  We serve owners along the 91 corridor from Hartford to New Haven.  Based on interest from clients we have begun to expand beyond route 91 and continue to add new markets.  It is our desire to have offices that will serve the entire state of Connecticut.

A History of Quality Client Service

Robert C. White, founder and namesake of Robert C. White & Company, embraced his true entrepreneurial spirit in 1955 when, through his work with the Institute of Real Estate Management, he decided to create his own property management firm founded on the most basic principal of superior service.

At its peak, the company provided support for 1,500 units throughout central Connecticut. When Mr. White retired in the early 1980s, the company was purchased by David Darling and James Livingston. The operation moved its home office to Hartford and Robert C. White & Company grew to manage 2,000 properties. Most of the units were residential, but the company also managed some commercial properties in the Hartford area.

Brothers Luke and Zach Eddinger of Middletown relaunched the firm in 2012 focused on property management of smaller residential properties.

From the moment it opened its doors in 1955 Robert C. White & Company has always been committed to the same thing - integrity and quality client service.
