Robert C. White, founder and namesake of Robert C. White & Company, embraced his true entrepreneurial spirit in 1955 when, through his work with the Institute of Real Estate Management, he decided to create his own property management firm founded on the most basic principle of superior service.


At its peak, the company provided support for 1,500 units throughout Connecticut. When Mr. White retired in the early 1980s, the company was purchased by David Darling and James Livingston. The operation moved its home office to Hartford and Robert C. White & Company grew to manage 2,000 properties. Most of the units were residential, but the company also managed some commercial properties in the Hartford area.


Brothers Luke and Zach Eddinger of Middletown relaunched the firm in 2012 focused on property management of smaller residential properties. 


From the moment it opened its doors in 1955 Robert C. White & Company has always been committed to the same thing - integrity and quality client service.
